4 phases process for accrediting R&D projects :

Identification

Projects proposed by members of the Association are approved based on :

  • their relevance to the cluster’s strategy and research topic areas,

  • criteria in terms of innovation and partners,

  • fully completed accreditation form.

A convention was signed between LUTB and INPI (Institut National de la Propriété Industrielle).

Formalization

Presentation to the Program Director

  • Meeting with the project sponsor.  
  • Confirmation of the project’s relevance to the research program.
  • Confirmation of the technological and the economic value of the project.
  • Deliberation by the Scientific and Technical Committee (CST) and proposal for new experts on the Committee for the project.

Scientific and Technical Committee

  • Presentation by the Program Director responsible for the project.
  • Recommendations and assistance to set up the project
    (search for partners).
  • Estimation of the scientific contribution of the project.
Accreditation

Meeting of the Executive Board

  • Official accreditation of the project.
  • Potential re-orientation of the project.

Finance Commission (summoned by the Prefect)

  • Presentation by the Program Director responsible for the project,
  • Orientation of the project towards an appropriate source of funding.
Preparation of final application
  • Prepared by the sponsor with assistance from the cluster and partners, if required.
  • Support for the project.
